Isha MyTanya Williams was born on November 19, 1962, in Washington,
DC to Patricia Johnson and the late Eugene Williams. Isha departed this
life on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at home in Washington, D.C. Isha attended D.C. public schools and later transferred to Prince George's County schools. Isha worked many years as crisis counselor at a non-profit, For Your Babies Sake to support young mothers in their time of need. Later, she became an independent homecare provider for senior citizens until her health no longer allowed her to do so. Isha's pride and joy were Children, Alicia Leake, Angel Brown, Patrice Williams (preceded in death), John Nathan Williams, Amber Williams, Ian Williams, Alexandra Fashaw (bonus daughter), and Austin Fashaw (preceded in death), Surian and Ihmere Williams. Isha met her first love, Allen Brown in 1975, and they had a long-lasting enduring friendship. Isha loved, loved the Lord, and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She read her bible daily. Isha was a beautiful spirit. She was loving, funny, and lively. She was a powerful woman. Her smile and laughter were infectious, her charisma and charm could win over anyone that she encountered. She was loved by many, and she loved many. Isha could love you dearly, while also, giving you the raw truth as only she could. Isha was the life of the party wherever she went. She could regularly be found on the dance floor, not caring if she didn't have rhythm. Isha enjoyed reading books, listening to music, and watching classic movies. |
